The story of this painting, “The Spirit of dance”, begins in 2024, when the Rubió Tudurí Foundation commissioned me to create it to mark the occasion of its tenth Dance Stars Gala festival.

The work was unveiled to the public in August 2025 at the “Teatro Principal” in Mahón. As a distinctive feature, although two figures are depicted, they are in fact composed of five different identities: the dancer’s hands are those of my wife, the man’s head is that of our son, his torso belongs to an Italian dancer, the legs are those of a renowned Italian ballerina, and the head of the central figure is that of a young ballet teacher from Menorca.
